These dog collars are sometimes called martingale collars or "limited choke" collars. They provide good control of most dogs, but are comfortable and will not hurt the dog. They are based on a collar originally designed for greyhounds, who have sensitive necks. Collars are constructed with 10,000 pound test climbing webbing, lightly padded, lined with soft cotton flannel and faced in a decorative fabric or trim. To order, please measure around the dog's neck in inches. The collar has about 2 inches slack, and slips over the dog's head. Priced at $20 to $25.

Pet placemats

Does your pet make a mess around the food or water bowl? Solve the problem with these adorable pet placemats. Each is made of two different pet-related fabrics, machine washable and dryable poly-cotton blends, so the mat can be used on either side. Cat placemats are fish shaped, and may have, for example, a fish print on one side and a fish bone print on the other. Dog placemats are bone shaped and come in regular or extra-large sizes. Prints include different dog breeds, wolves, bulldogs on motorcycles, and similar designs. Priced at $7.50 - $10.

Bandanas

Many dogs wear bandanas, so I have a variety of cute prints for almost any occasion or dog. Sizes are "tiny", for Chihuahuas and other very small breeds, "small" for slightly larger dogs like toy poodles, "regular" for most dogs, from cocker spaniels to bulldogs to German shepherds and labs, and "extra-large" for breeds like Irish wolfhounds and St. Bernards. If in doubt about the size, measure around the dog's neck and send me the measurement in inches. Although I had dogs in mind for these, my friend's daughter sometimes wears the "regular" size, so they are good for people too (perhaps a matching set - you and your pooch?). Pet jewelry

Pets need to dress up sometimes too, so I have created wonderful necklaces for dogs and cats who just want to feel special. I make these with the same care I use in creating jewelry for humans, except I usually use base metal clasps and accents instead of sterling silver. When I am at shows, I often have people who want these necklaces for themselves, and I have to say "these are for special pets!". Cat necklaces are made with lightweight beads and on elastic string.
